Summary
Alleviate has been extended until December 2025 to continue its mission of enhancing access to pain research data.
We are delighted to formally announce that Alleviate has been awarded a 12-month no-cost extension until December 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to continue our mission of improving access to high-quality pain research data and fostering collaboration across the pain research community.

During this additional time, we will:
✅ Complete our existing datasets – We’re finalising transforming datasets to OMOP CDM, ensuring they are fully accessible and ready for use in pain research.
✅ Remain open for collaboration – Researchers, clinicians, and partners can still engage with us for future data needs and innovative projects.
✅ Continue PPIE activities – We are committed to Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE), ensuring those affected by chronic pain remain at the heart of our research efforts.
We invite researchers, data partners, and patient groups to connect with us as we move forward. Whether you’re interested in:
🔹 Accessing pain-related datasets
🔹 Exploring new research collaborations
🔹 Discussing future data needs
🔹 Getting involved in PPIE initiatives
This extension is a testament to the incredible work and dedication of everyone involved in Alleviate and our wider pain research community. By working together, we can continue to drive meaningful insights, innovation, and better outcomes for those living with pain.
Thank you to everyone for your continued support.
