Patient Public Involvement & Engagement (PPIE)
As the Alleviate project aims to tackle chronic pain by collecting data about pain conditions, active patient involvement is at its core. As a result, the project welcomes engagement from a range of individuals. There will be a variety of ways in which patients can get involved with the project and their details will be posted here as well as on a range of other media platforms.
Alleviate will enable researchers to tackle the long-term research challenges in understanding the complexity of chronic pain conditions. A patient perspective on Alleviate is provided by Antony Chuter.
More details on how to get involved are available from the patient involvement & engagement leaflet available here.
